Privacy Policy
How personal information is collected and used for the Testlaa NEET waitlist, student portal, mocks, and study-plan experience.
Last updated: 2026-07-09
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Testlaa NEET experience, including the waitlist, student login, mock exams, performance review features, and AI-powered study plans.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the platform.
- Contact and account information such as name, email address, and login details.
- Profile information you choose to provide, such as phone number, city, state, country, organisation name, and date of birth where requested.
- Assessment and progress information such as mock attempts, answers, scores, topic performance, study-plan actions, and related timestamps.
- Technical and security information such as IP address, device/browser details, and service logs used for reliability, abuse prevention, and support.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to operate the NEET experience, provide access, send login or transactional emails, deliver mock tests, generate study plans, identify weak skills, improve the service, prevent abuse, and support reward fulfilment where applicable.
We may use automated systems, including AI-assisted processing, to generate study-plan suggestions and topic recommendations. These outputs are assistive and should be used alongside your own judgement, teachers, coaching, and textbooks.
4. External study links
Some weak-skill review and study-plan recommendations may point you to publicly available educational resources from third-party providers such as Khan Academy, BYJU’S, and Vedantu.
If you choose to open those links, you will leave the Testlaa environment and interact directly with the third-party site. Their own privacy policies, cookies, analytics, and terms will apply to your use of those sites.
We do not claim ownership over those external resources and we do not control how those third parties collect or process information once you visit them.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, support users, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect your information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that we control. For privacy-related requests, contact legal@testlaa.com.
